Join us for our third annual Winter Residency Chamber Music Concert Series! Our artists will welcome audiences December 28 - 31 for a concert series featuring unique programs and different venues each day. We will travel around Jefferson County, West Virginia with stops in Harpers Ferry, Charles Town, and Shepherdstown.

 

Concerts will run approximately one hour with no intermission unless otherwise stated.

Holiday Highlights

7 PM  |  Camp Hill-Wesley United Methodist Church

Bring your loved ones and come celebrate the festive season with us!  We’re delighted to open the 2024 Winter Residency in the beautiful setting of Camp Hill-Wesley United Methodist Church in Harpers Ferry.


There’s something for everyone in this one-hour, family-friendly concert, which will feature selections of jolly and uplifting music to celebrate the yuletide season.  Musical works to include inspired arrangements of some beloved holiday classic tunes, delightful moments from Tchaikovsky’s “The Nutcracker”, inspiring works by Bach, and a special tribute to American composer Charles Ives as we celebrate the 150th anniversary of his birth.

Festive Celebration

Join us for an dazzling afternoon of music to warm your heart in the golden acoustics of historic Zion Episcopal Church in Charles Town, WV. Experience this inspiring live one-hour performance with family, friends and loved ones that will give you reason to celebrate! Featuring pianist Ellen Hwangbo in the heroic piano quintet by Robert Schumann, and US Premiere of lauded Irish film composer Liam Bates’ “Dolmen (Joy)” for string trio.

Duo Delights: Festive Treats

Experience ACMF's popular Duo Delights concert as our Winter Residency returns to Shepherdstown Train Station for this mid-morning musical treat! Our stellar string musicians will perform in a round robin of pairings, offering musical "treats and morsels" in this intimate venue. Enjoy a cup of coffee and tasty sweet treat with your ticket.

Nordic Celebration

Get ready for 2025! Start off your New Year’s eve with a classy afternoon to get you in the mood for celebration and a glass of bubbly!

ACMF is delighted to bring you a Nordic celebration of works from the northernmost countries in Europe- where long dark winter nights lead to indoor dancing and introspection.  This 70 minute concert will feature masterpieces by Estonian composer, Avro Pärt, and Norweigan great, Edward Greig, as well as works from ACMF fan favorite, the Danish String Quartet. Join our ACMF musicians directly after the concert for a glass of something sparkling before heading off to the rest of your New Years’ Eve festivities!
